St. Valentine's Day Massacre

This is an unofficial recap: It was a perfect day for a massacre! Weather couldn't have been better, the streets were packed and the race was pretty damned long. I don't have official numbers but maybe there were 20 or 30 racers.

Each participant received all manifests in one sealed envelope at the beginning of the event. The main race consisted of 5 "interlocking coloured rings" bearing a striking similarity to a major sporting event currently in progress. Each ring contained between 3 and 5 checkpoints (8 total) and required completion before moving to the next ring.

Double and triple bonus manifests were available for those who completed the 5 rings. As well, a secret manifest was presented to the speedy ones.

The race was long, lasting almost 5 hours. All 8 checkpoints had hosts helping out for the entire event. Thank you to all check-pointers for your service, muffins, and sometimes beer.

The race ended just as the sun was going down. Many finished all manifests. I don't think there were any major injuries or issues. Everyone seemed to be in high spirits and pumped to be through another massacre.
